William F. Hoffmeyer
|
Biographical Data: born in York, Pennsylvania; admitted to Pennsylvania Bar 1962; 1981 U.S. District Court, Middle District of Pennsylvania and U.S. Supreme Court.
Mr. Hoffmeyer is senior partner in the Law Firm of Hoffmeyer & Semmelman, LLP concentrating his practice on real estate and zoning law, corporate, estate planning, decedent's estates, and elderly law. Mr. Hoffmeyer serves as an expert witness in real estate matters throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, including law suits involving professional malpractice in the legal, real estate and title insurance fields and matters relevant to defects in real estate titles. He was the Solicitor for the York County Tax Claim and Tax Assessment Office from 1979 to1988.

He has served as Lecturer, Author and Adjunct Professor for many programs in Real Estate, Title Insurance and Unauthorized Practice of Law subjects for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, The Pennsylvania Land Title Institute, The Pennsylvania Bankers Association, Penn. State Paralegal Program at the York Campus, York College of Pennsylvania on Real Estate Law and various Bar Associations, Associations of Realtors and educational organizations throughout Pennsylvania including National Business Institute, Lorman Education Services, and Half Moon Educational Services. Further, he has been the moderator and lecturer for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s Annual General Practitioner’s Update Broadcast from the WITF Studios by satellite to over 30 different locations in Pennsylvania, since the inception of that program.
