Hoffmeyer and Semmelman, LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Christine M. O'Brien, Esquire to our Family Law Division. Attorney O'Brien is a graduate of Emory University where she was heavily involved in varsity athletics. She received her Juris Doctorate from Villanova University School of Law where she was on the law journal, worked with the Homeless Advocacy Project and volunteered with Special Olympics. Attorney O'Brien was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in October 2008. Her professional experience includes summer associate work with law offices in Conshohocken and Wyncote PA. Attorney O'Brien will concentrate her practice in the areas of divorce, custody, support, adoption and prenuptial agreements. |

David C. Schanbacher, Esquire, a partner with Hoffmeyer & Semmelman, LLP, will co-chair the Rules of Court Committee of the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Family Law Section. This Committee reviews all Rules of Court affecting family and matrimonial law matters, which will primarily focus on the mandatory four-year review of the Pennsylvania Support Guidelines. Mr. Schanbacher has been a partner with Hoffmeyer & Semmelman, LLP for the past nine years, is a member of the Family Law Section Council of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and has lectured for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute on several family law matters. |
